FanDuel has partnered with Boyd Gaming to rebrand its Betfair Casino app in New Jersey to Boyd's hugely popular Stardust Casino. The Stardust real-money casino app will also be launched in Pennsylvania in April on top of the operator's FanDuel Casino site.

Licences for (online) betting and lotteries will only be given to Swisslos and Loterie Romande. Foreign providers cannot apply for a licence and their websites are blocked (DNS-blocking) by the Swiss authorities if the provider does not block the access to the games from Switzerland itself.

The operation of an online casino is illegal in Switzerland and only allowed if a permit from the Swiss Gambling Commission has been obtained. In recent years, there has been an accumulation of rulings in Germany as well as in Austria in which players can reclaim losses from forbidden online casino gaming.
