On October 31st each year people across the United States celebrate Halloween or All Hallow's Eve. Widely geared toward young children who enjoy wearing costumes, trick-or-treating, and pumpkin carving, Halloween has become the second-largest commercially celebrated holiday in America grossing overR$8 billion in sales.

Although there are some families who don't celebrate for secular reasons, the majority of the them don't take part in halloween, for religious reasons. Religion plays a key role in most other major holidays such as Christmas, passover, easter, and Yom Kippur, but halloween is not usually associated with religion.
