Assim como o BMX, o mountain bike surgiu da curiosidade e da ânsia por aventura dos norte-americanos da década de 5️⃣ 1970.
Foi no estado da Califórnia que ciclistas que buscavam uma experiência diferente do asfalto das estradas resolveram enfrentar trilhas e 5️⃣ terrenos acidentados com suas bicicletas.
Um grupo de San Francisco ajudou bastante na divulgação da modalidade ao realizar um dos primeiros 5️⃣ campeonatos de mountain bike.
A prova, disputada entre os anos de 1976 e 1979, ocorreu nas proximidades da famosa ponte Golden 5️⃣ Gate e acabou atraindo bastante interesse para a nova vertente do ciclismo.
Em 1983, os norte-americanos realizaram o primeiro campeonato nacional 5️⃣ do esporte.

She is known for her roles 💱 as Andy Jensen in the ABC Family series Kyle XY, as Lacy Rand in the Syfy science fiction drama series 💱 Caprica, and as Emily (born Maya Hartwell) in the science fiction series Continuum.

Apanowicz is of Polish 💱 descent and spent a year in Poland in the ninth grade.[1] She lived there with her uncle and attended a 💱 school in Jelenia Góra.[2] She later studied at Vancouver Film School.
Career [ edit ]
She became interested in acting at the 💱 age of ten, after her brother introduced her to Pulp Fiction. She began her career in 2002 with brief appearances 💱 in the TV series Jeremiah and John Doe.[3] From 2007 to 2009, she played the role of Andy Jensen on 💱 Kyle XY. In 2008 she starred in the Hallmark Channel original movie Every Second Counts.[4]
