It was acquired by Viaplay Group in July 2024, but earlier this year Viaplay decided to change strategy, focusing solely on its Nordics and Dutch businesses and closing down its UK operations. Premier Sports will return to Sky, Virgin, Amazon Prime and Apple, before launching an enhanced streaming service.

Sky TV customers can sign up to Premier Sports for just 9.99 per month, or for an annual cost of 99. There is no connection fee, but customers must have a Sky viewing card  you will need to quote your viewing card number in order for Premier Sports to be added to your package.
