The Copa Libertadores final between Brazil's Fluminense and Argentina's Boca Juniors went to extra-time on Saturday after the two sides finished regulation level at 1-1. German Cano had fired Fluminense ahead after 36 minutes before Luis Advincula rifled home a long-range equaliser for Boca in the 72nd minute.
The final is played as a single match at a venue pre-selected by CONMEBOL, with the higher-seeded team designated as the "home" team for administrative purposes (Regulations Article 2.2.3.5). If tied after regulation, 30 minutes of extra time will be played.
